School holidays and sick days

Coming soon

The Task Calendar is on its way. You’ll be able to mark school holidays, a week at the grandparents’ or a sick day, and tasks switch off for those dates. Pocket money still pays on schedule, and the days off don’t count against your kid.

This recipe will cover it properly once it lands.

Until then

Excuse the jobs your kid couldn’t do. Open the Daily screen, go to the day, and excuse the responsibilities that got missed. You can excuse several at once, but not ahead of time: future days can’t be excused. Excused jobs count as done for pocket money, so a sick day doesn’t cost them their week.

The details, including what can and can’t be excused, are in Weekly pocket money, with jobs that have to get done.

Yes, it’s a lot of tapping for a fortnight at the beach. That’s why the Task Calendar is coming.
